Winter Treats at Rivareno Gelato
We are so lucky with Sydney’s winters, the days are cool and the nights can be crisp - and we can enjoy smooth and creamy fresh gelato all year round. To add to the menu this winter Rivareno are bringing you the Italian specialties that Rivareno is known for, and are the perfect complement to a scoop of your favourite flavours.
Hot Chocolates
This year you have 2 hot chocolate flavours to choose from. Try the new Bacio (hazelnut and chocolate) hot chocolate, or the traditional rich Italian hot chocolate. Made with the finest ingredients, you will never look at powdered hot chocolate or sugary syrups again.
Affogato
Lets ramp it up a notch, you can enjoy your favourite gelato flavour and pour a hot chocolate or coffee over the top. The flavour combinations are extensive and oh so good.
Hot Belgian Waffles
Did you know Rivareno serve waffles all year round, the bonus this year is that they are welcoming the new sauce addition to the mix, try yours next time topped with pistachio cream.
Brownies
New this year, Rivareno are excited to offer a new dessert option - brownies that aren’t too sweet, aren’t too dry- they are just right. Topped with gelato and gianduia sauce, if you miss this season’s special you are going to regret it.
Crepes (available from 1 June)
Made right in front of you, Rivareno crepes are all natural and preservative free. Add some freshly made gelato and top it with sauce, perfection!
Brioche (available from 1 June)
Fluffy pastry meets gelato, warm and toasty buns filled with scoops of gelato, this is Italy on a plate.
Pistachio Cream (available from 1 June)
Rivareno have been famous for their pistachio for more than 10 years, before pistachio became as famous as it is now. All natural and an intense flavour that will have you wanting more. You can choose what you drizzle your pistachio over whether it be crepes, waffles, gelato- the options are a plenty.
