Meet us in The Streets of Barangaroo where this year's VIVID festival will take you on an illuminated trail, of light and energy. Visit Exchange Square, wander along Wulugul Walk and be dazzled by the city skyline at Barangaroo Reserve.
Immerse yourself in a spectrum of colour as 6 thought provoking installations light up the stunning natural surrounds, stretching right throughout the Barangaroo precinct and beyond.

Lose yourself in the movement of these hypnotic, larger-than-life cranes, as you reflect on our deep connection to nature and the creatures within it. Let your imagination take flight, with your feet firmly planted to the ground.
Enter the Horizon for a hypnotic, full-body experience. Here, trance-like sound and strobing lights play with your spatial perception and offer a glimpse beyond everyday reality.
See trees (and yourself) in a new way as you gaze at a mesmerising display of nature’s hidden geometry.
PORTAL’s reflective surfaces capture clouds, trees, and the surroundings. By framing Barangaroo Headland in a dreamlike way, PORTAL invites you to re-frame your own perspective on the world around you.
Take a seat, meet a stranger, change your perspective. We often shy away from engaging with strangers in public spaces, Chairwave is here to change this. This innovative, kinetic, and illuminated seating system invites spontaneous interactions and authentic connections between individuals.
This moving and thought-provoking installation features over 4000 solar-powered LED candles placed along the sandstone blocks of Nawi Cove. Each candle stands for the increasing number of stateless people around the world and is an invitation to acknowledge their plight and tenacity.

React in real time, delve beyond click-bait headlines and understand the world better. Every weeknight of Vivid Sydney, kick back with a drink and watch as the brightest minds dissect and debate the breaking stories of the day.
Engage with writers, journalists, ex-politicians, social commentators, artists and academics as they debrief the day’s headlines and shine a light on the stories getting everyone talking.
Free and open to enquiring minds of all ages, After The Fact runs between 6-7pm each weekday (excluding 5 June) at Barangaroo House.
