DRIVING, PARKING & TAXIS

If you are visiting by car, there are a couple of public carparks nearby:

  • Wilson Parking - Barangaroo Reserve. Wilson Parking operates a public carpark at Barangaroo Reserve, providing 300 spaces over two basement levels (with 8 accessible parking spaces on Level B1). The carpark operates between 6am - midnight, 7 days per week. The carpark is a 10 minute walk from The Streets of Barangaroo.
  • Secure Parking - 1 Shelley Street. Secure Parking operates a public carpark at 1 Shelley Street (behind King Street Wharf). The carpark opens at 6am and closes at midnight (Mon-Thurs), 2am (Fri-Sat) and 10pm (Sun). The carpark is a 2 minutes walk from The Streets of Barangaroo.
  • Taxis are easy to find. There’s a taxi rank within the neighbourhood, located on Barangaroo Avenue, plus just a short walk away on Shelley Street and Hickson Road. If you’re arriving by taxi, you can get out on Barangaroo Avenue, or along Hickson Road.

BUS

Bus services will now take you directly to Barangaroo. Routes 311, 324 and 325 travel to Hickson Road from Town Hall, and a number of off peak services are now arriving at neighbouring King Street Wharf.

Naturally, all routes that stop at or near Wynyard will get you to The Streets of Barangaroo too. The Wynyard Bus Interchange is only a short walk away - arriving and departing from York, Clarence and Kent Streets. Of course, any bus that takes you into the city centre provides access to our neighbourhood.

TRAIN

Wynyard Station is only a short walk to The Streets of Barangaroo. The Wynyard Walk pedestrian tunnel leads to two bridges that cross over Sussex Street (Napoleon Bridge and the Sussex Street Bridge). Both bridges provide easy access via lift, escalators and stairs directly into The Streets.

BIKE

As the number of designated bike lanes within the CBD continue to grow, access to The Streets of Barangaroo for cyclists is set to become even easier as time goes by. Bike access within the neighbourhood is through Watermans Quay and Barangaroo Avenue, with short term bicycle parking available at a number of convenient locations - the largest of these located along Barangaroo Avenue, in front of The Canteen.

FERRY

The Barangaroo Ferry Hub (located along Wulugul Walk) provides direct access to The Streets. All public ferry services that previously arrived and departed from Darling Harbour Wharf 3 (King Street Wharf) have moved to the Barangaroo Wharf, including F4 (Darling Harbour services) and F3 (Parramatta River service).
