KPMG AUSTRALIA SAIL GRAND PRIX | SYDNEY

The world’s most exciting racing on-water – SailGP – returns to Sydney Harbour for the fourth time in February.

See sailing’s greatest athletes go head-to-head on Sydney Harbour at the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix I Sydney - the ninth of eleven events in Season 3 of SailGP. Come and support the Australia Team, led by home-grown Olympic gold medallist Tom Slingsby, as the two-times SailGP Champions defend their title on home waters.

Barangaroo is the home of the official SailGP Village. Everyone is welcome to come and share in the festival atmosphere. There will be loads of free activities and entertainment for the general public to enjoy and local retailers participating in the event with special offers, promotions and televised racing coverage.

Barangaroo is also the location of the SailGP technical area and team bases. Book an exclusive Team Base Tour of the 'pit lane garages' where athletes and shore teams prepare one of the world’s fastest sail racing boats, the high tech F50. Tours depart from the SailGP Village and run from 16 February.

The global SailGP championship visits some of the most iconic destinations in the world. Featuring cutting-edge technology, awe-inspiring athleticism and heart-thumping action, you’ll witness the fierce rivalry as nine nations compete in identical supercharged F50 foiling catamarans engineered for intense racing at speeds exceeding 100 kph.

You can watch the action and enjoy the party vibe on Genesis Island in the middle of the harbour race course. Or, get out on the water on an official spectator boat positioned in the public exclusion zone in front of the action.
