Matt Moran will create a showpiece of Sydney dining at Barangaroo.
In 2017, leading Australian chef and restaurateur Matt Moran will bring his passion for Australian food, drinks and hospitality to Barangaroo. Moran with his business partner, Peter Sullivan from MorSul (Moran and Sullivan), together with Bruce Solomon and Anna Solomon of Solotel, will create a unique experience at Barangaroo across a three level offering. The restaurant will be housed in a stunning architecturally designed building by Sydney architects, Collins and Turner, which will sit proud at the southern end of the waterfront dining precinct creating a significant entry statement along the harbour foreshore to Barangaroo.
The dining experience will be a stand-alone building which allows for different offerings to be delivered over three levels - and it was this uniqueness and location that caught the eye of Matt Moran.
“When we were first approached by Lendlease about joining the precinct, it was the location of the site which was key in our decision making. We intend to deliver a truly Australian experience at this world-class waterfront venue. Whether you are looking for a casual bar and restaurant, a more premium restaurant or a rooftop garden bar, we will have it all with our offering at Barangaroo and use only the best locally sourced produce to create a showpiece of Sydney dining,” said Matt.
